I was born in Southwestern North Carolina have lived & worked in Canton, Houston, San Francisco, Boston & Northern Virginia. I have been a waterfront property owner since 1998 and currently live on the Chesapeake Bay in Reedville Virginia.
Real Estate: After searching unsuccessfully for waterfront property in Virginia Beach and the Outer Banks, I thought we would never be able to afford waterfront property. Then we discovered the Northern Neck and quickly fell in love with it. The more time I spent here, the more I wanted to live and work here full time. The only way to make this a reality was to transition my professional sales and marketing career into one of real estate. My personal experience of buying undeveloped waterfront property and building a home was excellent "first-hand experience" in dealing with The Chesapeake Bay Act, Marine Resources Commission, County and State regulations, erosion control measures, endangered wildlife and the local area as it relates to the labor force and sub-contractors. There are some challenges to buying waterfront property and it’s a tremendous benefit to have someone who can help make it a pleasurable experience.
